I’m a street photographer and my main goal is to travel around the world capturing images of different peoples and cultures, particularly in my home state of Bahia / Brazil, a land which possesses such a rich scenario both in relation to both the day-to-day life of our people and popular, religious and civic events, as well as our nature itself.
I see all that I look at I feel all that I see; all that I feel 1 record — be it with the soul or with the camera. Photography is my passion.
“To witness the calibre which permeates the works of a photographer like Sinisia Coni is so fortunate. Her look represents the dynamic flow of human expressions, taking into account it is almost impossible to be unaffected by what is witnessed first-hand. The photographer from Bahia confesses that she puts her entire soul into the search for her images. As such, it is clear she is not inclined to conducting frivolous searches for places and people. She doesn’t take pictures for the sake of it, some kind of accidental photograph, but creates a purposeful involvement with what appears in front of her eyes. We perceive this when colours, shapes, shadows and faces emanate their own multiple languages in the most natural ritual possible.
